The Communications and Media Commission (CMC) marked World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, which falls on the seventeenth of May each year.
During a ceremony held for the occasion, the Commission showcased its most notable achievements in regulating the sector, and its plans to expand digital access in underserved areas.
The Commission honored a number of its distinguished staff and its partners in the public and private sectors.
