The Communications and Media Commission (CMC) held an expanded meeting with representatives of the telecommunications companies operating in Iraq to review the results of the Quality of Service measurements for the second quarter of the year.
The meeting stressed the need to address weaknesses in coverage and internet speeds, and to adhere to the set timeframes for handling subscribers' complaints.
The Commission gave the companies clear timeframes to submit remediation plans, affirming that it will publish performance reports periodically for the public.
