The Communications and Media Commission (CMC) is committed to representing the Republic of Iraq effectively in specialized forums: from the conferences of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the summits of peer Arab regulators, to regional Internet governance forums and international technology exhibitions. Iraq's seat at these forums is a voice in shaping policy and an opportunity to present the country's priorities in developing digital infrastructure.
Technical missions and bilateral visits are used to transfer best practices back home: reviewing the latest spectrum monitoring systems, exchanging expertise in price regulation and user protection, and coordinating cross-border frequencies with neighboring countries — all of which is directly reflected in the quality of the services provided to the Iraqi citizen.
