The Board of Commissioners of the Communications and Media Commission issued an official statement containing the updated controls governing the work of licensed satellite broadcasting channels inside Iraq.
The statement emphasized the commitment of media institutions to professional broadcasting rules, respect for pluralism, and steering clear of hate speech and incitement.
The Board called on all institutions to regularize their status within ninety days of the date the controls are published on the Commission's official website.
